I went to a Toyota in HB and I have a horrible experience with a sale man. I give a try in Auto Action Toyota Irvine and as soon we walk in A nice guy Mohammed give us a big smile and his bussines card. We went check for cars ,and later Mohammed come to us to help p us. When we discussed about buying the car Mohammed was super professional and explained to us so clear . Any ways I walk out with my new Car . Horrible service for an oil change. First the sales rep. try to charge me $104 for an oil change on 2013 Prius (maybe he saw my $30 coupon). It should be around $64 in the last 10 years with different sales rep. Drop off at 10:30am and never receive a phone call when my car is ready. So I called 3 times around 4:30pm and got hang up each time. One time I can hear someone laughing at the background. I lookup at Yelp and saw ton of negative reviews, and someone posted the contact number for 3 service managers. I called all 3 on a direct line, and left a voice message. Never received a call back on the incident. Check on Yelp and someone posted they got D- from the "better business bureau". I know the wages went up, but $104 for an oil change is just a scam (other Toyota locations are changing around $60 with car wash and Lyft drop-off/pickup).

I bought a new 2022 Toyota Camry last year. And the process was faster than I thought. Only took me 2 hours and the staff was really nice to me and very helpful. Made buying my first car easy. When I take my car in for an oil change they offer a very clean facilities to wait in and offers snacks and coffee. Had no problem with them. 10/10 overall

Took my car in for routine maintenance as I always do every 5,000 miles. The dealership usually tries to add on extra maintenance items so ask questions as to what each service is. It took two hours for them to perform the maintenance. The lobby where I waited had a nice assortment of snacks and water and coffee. I was disappointed when my car was returned to me and had not been washed!!! After paying $220 for the oil change, rotating the tires, windshield wipes, checking the brakes, a car wash would have been nice.

Well, I took my car in because it has been having acceleration issues, 2016 Camry with 80k in miles. I drop it off they call me the next day and says they couldn’t duplicate the issue. Come grab ur car, I go pick it up the lady says it’s free and that they didn’t even test or drive the car. The next day I get a bill for 210.00. Fun!

Worst experience ever.. I get conned into buying the Toyota after care, then when I actually try to use it, the lady working says I don’t have it. Then she says she won’t do it because I have a Honda and it’s a Toyota dealer. Yes I am aware it’s a Toyota dealer… but I bought the TOYOTA aftercare from you when I bought my car used. She then said I didn’t have an appointment so she would t help me. I scheduled an appointment the day before. She then said I couldn’t schedule it the same day and expect to be seen. First off if that were true, why would you offer me an appointment? And second off it wasn’t done the same day. Finally she said she wouldn’t help me because she didn’t like my attitude. Umm no… you weren’t helping me anyways. I know these reviews mean literally nothing because car dealerships have no shame… but hopefully it stops ONE person from wasting their money there. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else.

Purchased 2021 certified Tundra 4x4. Eric was quick to view my CDL for the test drive. Anything I ask for in add on’s was was handled there at the dealership. The finance department was courteous and no pressure for extra coverage options. I few free gifts was a pleasant surprise, a sharp looking black and red Toyota hat and a car care kit will not go unused. I highly recommend to anyone any Toyota model from Auto Nation Irvine

Made an appointment at 1100 in Irvine and maintenance service not completed until 3 pm - that’s 4 hours of waiting & they said they have a system , appointment gets serviced first before the drop off but didn’t happen & their system sucks . Supervisor gave me a voucher for full tank of gas. Mercedes Benz has a better system Thank you for the service !

I rarely share experiences but wanted to leave positive feedback for Kate Chaalan, who was my AutoNation Irvine representative during my appointment today. One of the best services I've had here so far, though I've only had two. I arrived early to my appointment and she greeted me with a smile & checked me in one time (if not earlier!) I waited in the Customer Lounge and worked while I waited for my car to be serviced. She kindly checked in with twice before my car was ready to go, providing me estimated times of completion and such. This was incredibly helpful as these services usually take a couple hours. Just wanted to say thank you again. Her service was promotion-worthy!

Repeat customer at this service center but not a fan of this rep. Can you say up charge? Braulio was the rep. He was friendly and check in was quick. The problem started with the service add ons. He put a suggestion of a kit and an alignment on at the start of check in. When he realized I already had an alignment my last visit. I now suddenly needed something else. (That was not already on the list) What he added did not seem needed at the time but increased the price to about the same as an alignment. He also mention a couple times I have to type in you declined the service. Yes I did because at this time if I needed it I am unsure because you lost my trust. The reason I continue to come to this dealership is the service department and the wonderful customer service. Manny was amazing the time before hope to have him again next time!

Great dealership and friendly service. I needed a catalytic converter in my 2004 highlander and they had one in stock and were able to replace it the same day. I knocked off 1 star because i explained that the O2 sensor was good, it was only throwing a code because i needed to unplug it during troubleshooting, but they still suggested i replace it. Other than that, its a great dealership and ill be returning for any service i can not do myself.

It was extremely easy to schedule an appointment with my service advisor. When I dropped the car off for service, I was in and out within 5 minutes of my arrival. Brought car in for oil change and tire rotation, which they did With my bill I got a list of other work that was needed. Brakes and serpentine belt made sense. Transmission fluid flush was only legitimate if I was towing or had a roof carrier, which I did not. Brake fluid flush was nowhere in the scheduled service, though there is alot on the internet Brake repair achieves the same end result. I will not use a service that recommends unnecessary work. The response from the dealer, below, is, certainly, positive. Since the service department recommended unnecessary service once, however, I will be forever leary. If I ever do go back, it will be with a whole lot suspicion for anything recommended that is NOT in the service manual or to be expected (like brakes).

Sales/Purchase experience was great. All associates were extremely friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I received more than any other dealer offered for my trade in and that was more than fair. The sales process was quick and seamless and rather enjoyable. The only issue I would warn about is that I am 100% certain my RayBan sunglasses were stolen. I accidentally forgot to take my sunglasses out of the car I traded in. When I realized I forgot my sunglasses, I immediately contacted my salesman and asked him to get my sunglasses and that I would come pick them up. I have a 2012 Toyota Camry Hybrid. A couple years ago I had to have the 12Volt battery replaced, so I took it to a local repair shop, and they put in a battery. That battery only lasted two years. I called AAA and they said the battery was not the right kind for a hybrid, which I never knew. Also, AAA said they did not carry that type. I went to Costco, and they said they did not carry that type either. I finally went to Auto Nation Toyota Irvine. They said they of course carry the special 12volt battery for Hybrids. It has an extended warranty out to four years, so I had it installed, and it works great! The moral to this story is, only go to the authorized dealer for a replacement part, since they will always install the correct part for your model car. Tom J.

This Service Department at Autonation Toyota is a great experience. Everyone is very organized, attentive, they have a great customer lounge, and offer free shuttle within a few miles. Recently went in for a 10,000 mi check up and unfortunately only after a week and a half after my visit I will have to bring my car back in. I wanted to get my car thoroughly serviced since I was going on a long road trip. Paid extra for alignment check and told them my biggest concern was with my tire pressure. I’ve only owned the car for 8 months and I’ve had to put air in my tires 3 times due to “low tire pressure” light coming on. Well I’m nearing the end of my trip and I’ve noticed my car is veering to the left when I drive so I don’t believe my alignment was fixed at all. And my “low tire pressure” light came on AGAIN only after a week of service and the pressure is in the high 20s in all tires when it should be at 51! I will have to pay out of my own pocket to get air in my tires so I can make it home from my trip! Not happy about any of this to say the least. Hoping AutoNation makes this right as I would like to feel confident when I’m traveling with my vehicle!!

Updated Review (12/28/2022) Went in for a second oil change, great customer service and best of all, my wait time wasn't 6.5hrs like last time but around 1.5-2hrs ☺ - Love the transparency with the servicer, letting me know what is needed on my truck and didn't feel pushed over or forced into opting in for anything. Will come back for my routinely servicing and oil changes. Thank You, --------- A1 Service from appointment setting (I forgot her name but, she was extremely helpful, naturally caring) to the actual servicing of my Tacoma. Aaron was super nice. It was cool to get updates as well via text. Servicer sent a video update which was neat to see the undercarriage with specs on my truck at its current mileage and condition. Side note: they accept lifted trucks for their servicing, cool to see others pass by with their modified Tacos. Only cons to my first experience here is the wait times for completion - 40k service: oil change/tire rotation (2hrs turned into 6.5hrs) Luckily I didn’t have anything to do all day but, for future references I’d suggest just dropping your car off and coming back later when it’s ready. Regardless, Thank you Toyota Irvine! I will be coming back for my routinely maintenances indefinitely.

I don’t recommend getting your car serviced here. I made an appointment for 9am, and they said it’ll take up to an hour to clean my AC lines. When I checked in, I was told my service agent (know his name, but unsure who is responsible for my experience so excluded it) will talk to me soon. After waiting 1.5 hours without the service agent talking to me/having sign service papers, I asked for an update. It appeared that they had forgotten about my car. People in the service area asked how long I’ve been waiting for, and when I finally got the update, the service agent said my car was “in line to get worked on” for the whole time I’ve been waiting. Then I saw my car getting pulled in to get worked on immediately after and was told it’ll be another 30 mins. Maybe the timing was a coincidence? Regardless, an hour of waiting became two hours, and I honestly think if I hadn’t gone out to the service area to ask for an update, it would have been longer. Everyone has bad days, but if you inconvenience a customer due to your mistakes/miscommunication, there should be compensation or at minimum, honesty and accountability.

It starts around 10 am and is completed by 3 pm. The Raid sales manager and Huan are very nice, professional and always help you think ahead of time. We became friends, especially that he can speak Chinese, which is friendly to us, he is a great guy, Chinese people can look for him to buy a car. I've never had a bad experience when getting my car serviced, but I CANNOT stand the constant calls after my free 2 year service agreement with Toyota had expried months ago. I've ignored repeated Autonation calls over the last few months but have finally picked up a call in November and politely told the person that I do not wish to be contacted about getting my car serviced further at the dealership as my dad will be helping me out with that moving forward. However, I received another call today in the morning around 10am. Again, I politely told the person I am not interested and wish to be put on the do not call list. Then I received ANOTHER call TODAY at 2:21pm about getting my car service. Please stop stop calling me. I don't understand what is so difficult about that 😭

I have good feedback for one and only one of your staff at the Auto Nation Irvine. Kate was the glowing representative of your organization. Unfortunately, it stops there. Our service rep was Tony Nguyen. He was nice enough but was difficult to understand and did not return my phone calls. We received a call from the manager about my car being picked up when we already had. Lack of communication among staff. Long story long, our Sienna had been purchased from an authorized dealer who sells handicapped friendly, wheelchair accessible automobiles. We were assured that we would be taken care of when the Emissions Recall notice came in. The DMV would not renew our registration until the Recall was complete. Every 7 visits to South Coast Toyota and Auto Nation Toyota we were promised that the recall would be "no problem" only to find out that we received the news that the recall could not be performed due to the modification. Over and over and over again. Now we are 4 months expired on our registration while our caregivers are driving my step mother daily risking getting pulled over and ticketed. That is just the beginning. Finally, the latest visit, all was solved because I insisted your dealer called the van company and voila!!!! No problem I am beyond disgusted with the lack of knowledge and customer service.

Went in to pick up a small part for my fuel door, Kenny the parts manager found the part and before he charged me the $12+ for it, he checked with service and found it to be covered under my warranty. He moved me to the service bay and I was helped and repaired, and out within 15-20 minutes of arriving. Thank you Kenny for being friendly and helpful. I’ll be back!

They will lie to your face and smile. After selling me a car that was missing various clips & bolts on the rear bumper, the dealership insists that checking for such things (like bolts underneath the car) is the buyer's responsibility. After pleading with the dealer to help in any possible way, they chuckled and mentioned I should have bought wear and tear damage. Had the car for 2 weeks... who knew wear & tear sets in that quickly? If you do choose to buy from them, bring a lawyer or a car mechanic to protect yourself.

I don’t think this the standard but went in for an oil change and took over 3 hours. This was after I checked on the car asking for the status after 2 hours and 10 minutes. The only explanation that was given was that they were busy. When I dropped off the car, I was told it would be 1.5 to 2 hours.

This review is specifically for my service advisor Israr (Eddie Dola). I have been to this location many times for my vehicle’s needs and I have been pretty satisfied each time. However, this visit was the first time a service advisor made a lasting impression on me and Eddie will absolutely have me as a repeat cilent again. I had a service appointment because my maintenance light was on. I had driven back to CA from the east coast and since I had just moved back, I mentioned was on a budget for this appointment. Eddie made sure the maintenance costs were within my means, which meant so much to me. He went down the list of what was needed and recommended for this visit and what could be saved for next time when my financial situation was better. I also had a lot of questions / concerns about my car in regards to service and mileage, and he answered them with a helpful, patient, and professional attitude. He is very knowledgeable and it put my mind at ease for my concerns. I felt he was incredibly attentive to my needs. Eddie is very personable as well and in between my questions and conversations about the appointment, we were able to have lighthearted exchanges. On top of that, my car was ready 15 minutes before the promised time. I am very pleased with how everything had gone with my experience with Eddie and recommend him to anyone who is seeking excellent service with a wonderful advisor. I started taking my car here instead of the Huntington Beach Toyota once I moved to Irvine. The difference in service is night and day between the two service centers that I wouldn’t even call what they offer at Irvine “Service”. Appointments don’t matter and the past 2 times I arrived to pick up my car, I had to wait around for approximately 45mins to pick up my car after I was told it was done. The last time I was there, my tech was short and rude and my car was damaged and the service manager said that they would contact the body shop that they use and get back to me but it’s almost been 2 weeks. I’ve called to get an answer as to what are the next steps and get put on hold and hung up on as it’s clear they are trying to dodge responsibility. They take pictures of your car during intake in case of damage, but the pictures of my car magically disappeared. Waste of time. Terrible service. Take your car elsewhere if you value it and your time.

Zero stars if I could. This was the WORST experience ever. DO NOT get your car serviced here. Long story short, I went in for a 10k mi service and when I got my car back there were massive scratches and a dent on my trunk. I made an appointment to get them fixed and the Service Manager Denise Lewis was absolutely horrible. She had an attitude and denied her team did anything and accused me of doing it saying the back and forth scratches came from something like “kitty cat claws” and there was nothing there that would do that. She wouldn’t accept responsibility. I wouldn’t have been there if the scratches and dent were my fault, I have better things to do with my life. She ended up having them buff most of it out (I can still see a scratch) but was going to make me pay for the dent fix. She also claimed she couldn’t see that there weren’t any scratches in their before photos when that absolutely wasn’t true. I reached out to the GM, Mark Mehta, and he was no help. You’d think he’d want to make it right, but no response from him at all. The only reason I went to a dealership is because my car is still under warranty, but I would gladly pay my mechanic money instead of a free service if I had to deal with this place and these “customer service” people again.

Toyota Irvine always does a great job, no matter what I need. I was in today for an oil change. They were courteous and professional. Jaime signed me in and kept coming in to check on me. James took care of my paperwork and answered questions I had. The cost of the oil change was 69.99, comparable to most places, plus they inspect everything and top off fluids. Not everyone does that! All in all, I would highly recommend Toyota Irvine. As for myself, I will always be back!

I attribute our great purchase experience to our salesman Tom Hlousek. From start to finish he made sure all of our questions and concerns were addressed. We purchased a used 4Runner. w/156k miles so the vehicle had a few things it needed. Tom made note of the few things that needed to be fixed and appeased me when I asked for a breakdown of all the safety adjustments that were made through their 150pt inspection process. He was never a hard-sell. Just sincere and attentive even after we arrived home with the vehicle. We experienced a major issue with our pre-approved loan at our credit union and again, AutoNation's team came through. Mark Pueblas in Finance was equally attentive, stayed on top of our credit union, and ensured the deal went through. Our daughter couldn't be happier with the vehicle. I recently purchased a 2014 Highlander Limited from Autonation in Irvine. It was my first time not buying new, but I was very satisfied with the entire process. From the moment I first saw the online listing, to seeing the car for the first time with my salesman, Andy, it was a very easy process. I really appreciated the transparency from this location, as Andy sent me a Carfax that showed uniquely low mileage, no salvage or accidents. I ran my own carfax once I arrived and could see the VIN for myself, but the Carfax he provided was completely accurate. The car had a thorough inspection, and I really like Autonation's 5 day policy for used vehicles. Accountability and Customer Service. My last two services at this location have been below Toyota Standards. The first time went in for a quick fluid check and refill. My car was returned and the service adviser left the keys in the car and reach out to ask for better service in the future but no response back from anyone. I let it go because people make mistakes and it was not worth it to go further with it. The second time I went in for an oil change and I had a mechanical issue and returned my car to be fixed. I had to take it to another location for a temp fix. I towed my car from the site of the mechanical issue to the closest shop. Return it home and called Toyota to fix it. I did not receive a call right away but after 3 days of calling, I heard from the Service Drive Manager who stated he would repair my car only at their discretion and the best judgment of the shop. I asked them to replace the oil pan because the drain plug was spinning and the new fix was more of a bandaid. He told me he would add an oversize plug to fix the issue without considering my request. I did not agree with the fix and reached out to the General Manager to help but the GM did not change his mind and did not reach out to me even after I told him the problem. He only reach out after I told him the problem was not fixed. He told me that he did not reach out because he assumed that the problem was fixed. The worst part of all is my car is not getting genuine Toyota parts but the GM stated that the form clearly stated that they would install aftermarket parts and the service adviser told me. I was not told that the oil change came with after-market parts instead of the Genuine Toyota parts.

While my car was in to have the hybrid battery replaced, my catalytic converter was stolen. I did a public records request with the City of Irvine and saw that this was the second time in the past two months where there was a reported grand theft from an automobile at this dealership. AutoNation Irvine has been stonewalling by not returning my calls and has offered nothing to try to resolve the issue. When I visited in person, they said they want me to go through my insurance. In other words, they’re making me take on the increased insurance costs that will likely result rather than accept responsibility for caring for my car while it’s in their possession.

customer service person Joel was very easy to talk to and answered all my questions. Although I only came in for a 5000 mile service there were a couple of issues that were found on my visit. There was a rats nest in the engine compartment. Joel explained to me what needed to be done. Basically sanitize the engine and replace the cabin filter, which was very dirty. As my service contract just expired, I used a coupon to save some $. I like the new addition of seeing a mechanic showing the work being done. I usually take a nap in the waiting room and before I know it the work is done and I'm gone. My experiences generally go on without anything unexpected. I'll be back for my next scheduled service.k

This time was good but last time was not. I had just spent $5,000 to get my car fixed and it overheated 30 minutes after I picked it up. I had to have it towed back to the dealer. They gave me a car to use until they fixed mine and a $600 discount. But I got into it with supervisor so he told me if I took my car someplace else for service then the warrantee on the work they just did would be null and void.

Wish there was a 0 star option… Avoid this location to save yourself a headache. My first & last time at this location. Thomas Folk was late to my appointment for 30 minutes. My appointment was for an oil change & tire rotation. after FIVE hours of service for my car, Thomas informs me that he has to charge me $150 for my tire rotation (while my car is still under warranty) because if they unscrew the bolts it will break!!! How come this has never been an issue at the Tustin AutoNation where I usually get my car serviced? Thomas continues to blame it on them saying they have messed it up & didn’t screw it on correctly last time & I should take it to them to fix it unless I want to pay here to fix it. AWFUL SERVICE. Held my car there for 5 hours for just an oil change…

Recently I've bought Toyota Siena 2021 and three times I have been at this service. 1. Completely unfriendly inviroment. Notwithstanding of whether you came with or without appointment, you can spend 15 minutes in the middle of the drop off line and no attention at all. You feel like you're an empty spot. All employees just pass by you and say nothing, no "hello" or "I'll be right with you shortly" or sort of this phrases. They disrespect even seniors, who are, some times, turning around do not understanding what to do next, and where to go after they came on the drop off line. Moreover it is so obvious some times that a senior person is so confusing and needs just some attention however nobody cares in this service. 2. First time I came to fix a recall. when I called before to headquater or sort of they said cofirmed the availibility of the remedy of this recall. However, when I came to this service the employee told me it is impossible. It took me for about one hour, request for the manager coming, several conversations with the headquater, only to make the employee open the document in his computer where it turned out there was a remedy instruction. Completely uninvoleved and disinterested in the process stuff. Second time I've been there for maintanence. And had to return two times because they forgot to reset, the first time - indicator about necessities of maintnance, the second time because they forgot to reset the similar indicator about oil change. So unprofessional! You are naver expect that you need to move all your businesses three time instead of one because of someone irresposible attitude towards his or her simple work to change oil. Third time I came because after the maitanace I have gotten some additional rotating hum. I thought it might be because they rotated tires and they need to form themselves a while. However the humming sound haven't disappeared. I again moved all my business and allocated one day to fix the problem whatever the problem is. I dropped my car in the morning and was promised to get it in the evening, however, in the evening my car was not even touched by anyone. Turned out I lost my day only for my car standing on this service parking lot. It is sheer disrespect to customers. Conclusion I hate to say that but have to admit that this service is unprofessional, unfriendly and disrespectful to customers. I guess with such a service there is no incentive to come after the warranty end up.

Erik was very friendly and helpful when I came in for my annual oil change and a tire rotation. Although the free coffee and snacks are appreciated while you wait, along with friendly staff, it took three hours simply for an oil change and rotation. I arrived at 12:50 pm and left at around 3:50 pm. They wrote down 1:20 pm as my arrival time as it took them too long to finally log in my car. As much as I appreciate having my car serviced at the dealer, I am not sure if I would want to pay more (my local mechanic charges less), drive out further, and wait longer for the same service where you are just another number.

My husband recently bought a car from AutoNation and also purchased the service plan. He was told he could take his car to any AutoNation for service. We received notice via mail that it was time for the first service so he made an appointment to bring it in. First, when he arrived he was rudely told that he wasn't covered. After escalating to a manager, they finally found his record. Second, he waited for more than an hour while other walk-in customers were taken back for service and there vehicles completed. He watched this happen two times before finally giving up and asking for his keys. This was not our first hiccup with AutoNation. When the vehicle was first purchased, we never received our license plates and the dealer would never return our calls when we attempted to inquire. Our temporary registration expired and we still had no clue where the plates were. We finally received them in the mail a month after the temp registration expired and months of us attempting to call and email without ever receiving a response. I will be sure to let everyone I know to NEVER purchase a vehicle from this company. Poor customer service and non-compliance with the law is what you get when you decide to purchase with them.

The personnel at the dealership were rude, incompetent, and distressing. I had a 2pm appointment to have a new key made to because I lost one of my two keys. The charge was to be $700. I will not complain about the cost of $700, which is insane. I assume that Toyota approves of that charge to make a second key. However, they told me it would take at least 2 hours and I should probably leave my car, because of the long wait. Yes, over 2 hours to make a new key even with an appointment. So, I asked if they could provide me with a ride home. They did not offer. I had to ask. The service writer told me he could order a Lyft car to take me home, so I asked him to do that. He punched some keys on his computer, called someone on his phone, and told me he had ordered the car. He said that I should go "wait over there", and he pointed vaguely to the outside of the building. To clarify the location, I responded "so, I just wait outside". He said yes, the car will meet me there. After waiting a half hour for the car, I went back to the service writer and asked if there was a problem. He asked if I had spoken to the man outside who was standing in front of the parts department. I said that I had not spoken to that man. I was not told that I had to speak to him. The service writer said that he had told me to speak to that man. I repeated that I was told to "stand of over there", but he did not tell me that I had to speak to someone else. I thought he had ordered the car. The service writer insisted that he had told me to talk to the man outside. I said he did not say that. He insisted that he did say that. Rude! So, I went over to talk to that man outside and told him what happened. He said that the service writer had ordered the Lyft, but then cancelled it. I could see on this man's tablet that there was a prior order that had been cancelled. Incompetent! This man told me not to worrry, he would order me another Lyft. After another half our the Lyft finally came and took me home. After 5 pm, I had still not received a call from the service writer telling me that I could pick up the car. So, I phoned him. He was not available, so I left a message for him to call me back. After a while he did call me back, and he said that I could pick up the car. I asked if he would order a Lyft to take me back to the dealership. He said that he would do that. After about 15 minutes, I received a call from someone else at the dealership who said he was ordering a Lyft for me. He said he wanted me to confirm my address. I confirmed that the address he had was the correct address. He said that I would receive a text from Lyft as soon as a driver was identified. I waited another twenty minutes and no car arrived from Lyft. So I phoned back and spoke to the man who had confirmed my address. He said that the car was ordered, but Lyft had not identified a driver to take me back. He assured me that eventually someone would pick me up. I waited another 20 minutes, and still no text, and no Lyft car at my house. Distressing! It was now after 6pm, and I decided that I had better order an Uber and my own expense ($20) because, if I continued to wait for a Lyft, the dealership might be closed when I got there. Uber indicated that a driver would pick me up in 17 minutes. After 17 minutes the Uber arrived. So did the Lyft ordered by the dealership. This was now more than an hour after the dealership said they would order the Lyft. The Lyft driver told me that the dealership had given him the wrong address! This, after I had confirmed the address to the dealership a long time before. Incompetent! It was too late to cancel the Uber, so I took the Uber back to the dealership at my own expense, and I got there in time to pick up my car. I did not rate the dealership zero stars, because they did program the new key correctly.

First, until I opened the back door after a week of driving, and the handle fell off completely. It broke so easily that I thought it was broken before I had the car. The service department helped me fix it quickly. Then, when I drove the car for the second week, it kept popping out the Oil Level Sensor was malfunctioning. So I went to the service department again, this time they told me they could do nothing with it because they don't have Audi's computer to test what the problem is. I have to go to Audi store. I think it is ridiculous for a new purchased 2019 pre owned Audi. Apparently, they didn't do a thorough inspection of the used car before selling it. And if they can't repair Audi, what's the use of the thousands of dollers repair warranty I bought?

The service I received was fabulous. I had been looking at several cars at other dealerships hut no one would get back to me. I first dealt with the chat box on the website to verify the cars availability and set an appointment. Five minutes later Sam my salesperson was on the phone to confirm and welcome me. went to see the car at 7pm, Sam was very accommodating, helped with the test drive, answered questions, all low key and not high pressure at all. The finance dept did their job quickly and I went home with my new car. very pleasant experience, I'd highly recommend them.

The check in went really well. But there was an awful disconnect on pick up. The dealership had begun remodeling and I couldn’t locate a place to pay for the work and get my vehicle. I asked one “advisor” for help and he said you have to see your check in advisor. Well, he wasn’t at his desk. I asked another employee for help and she had no relevant advice. I asked for the manager. They pointed to his office. He wasn’t in either. By this time 10 minutes of frustration had me in tears. I just wanted to pay and get my car! Finally a man named Chris saw how upset I was and took me to his desk where I was able to pay and finally get my car. He apologized several times for the poor help I had received.

They replace rear breaks, week after they make noise. Go there again to get it fixed, they won’t fix it right.. few weeks after go again and get it fixed. On next regular service, they want front breaks to be done. Same problem. Noise after fresh break install, even after tell them about rear break experience.. go there twice to get fixed, now they will charge $$$ saying rear rotors are out and it ain’t our problem Wait for hours and hear lecture about how to use breaks. Simple fact of not doing job right while replacing fresh breaks doesn’t seem to be understood. Stay away. World is big find other options or a local small house mechanic who cares

Very accommodating. I really appreciated that. They couldn’t know but I have circumstances that make it very hard to come in and do this and to not make me reschedule was seriously a gift.

My service person was excellent - Tom - he was courteous, kind, and upbeat. My complaint and why i am considering going elsewhere for service is that when i take my car in (and this has happened on multiple occasions), i have a, say, 9:00 a.m. appt. I get there five minutes early, and i sit in my car for 35 minutes before they ever take the keys. I hear the guys saying they "overbook and everything is backed up (not talking to me but to one another)" and then i go for the shuttle and they are "overbooked" and I am not scheduled for three more runs. This is not acceptable to me. Five - ten minutes, sure. This happened exactly the same way last time but it was a Saturday so i booked a week ahead and in the middle of the week this time. I know covid makes things difficult, but they need to work on their scheduling. They did get the car to me by 1:30, as agreed, and it had been washed on the outside, and i appreciate that but i had an appt in the morning i had to reschedule.

PLEASE share with anyone you know who bought a Toyota Certified Used Vehicle from here. I was sold a van severely damaged by the previous owner. After (s)he crashed into the curb, damaging both right side tires and other parts, the van started shaking at higher speeds, resulting in the tires going bad after 20k miles. It was then sold to us as a TCUV. At our first 19k miles, the van started shaking at high speeds…all 4 tires were bald. Despite arguing that something had to be seriously wrong with the van, the sales manager said all we needed were 4 new tires. After 17k miles on the new tires, I got a slow leak in one, and then discovered ALL 4 tires were bald again! We then got a complete printout of the van’s Toyota history and discovered the damage done by the prior owner at 7600miles. We showed this to the general manager. He said they don’t look at the previous history when certifying a vehicle. His analogy was like when you go to a doctor…doctors don’t look at your past history, they just diagnose you right then!?!?! Both managers insist the van was properly certified…even though we discovered they secretly painted the bumpers the day AFTER we bought the car (and 2 days after they signed off the 160 Point Quality Assurance Sheet), and put a different invoice in our sales packet. I fought this for a year and a half, filing reports with the BBB (Autonation Irvine never replied back), the Bureau of Automotive Repair (Autonation Irvine told them they would not repair it. The BAR said since the van records clearly indicated the same persistent problem from the prior owner, they should have returned our money or traded the car out), the Orange County District Attorney (violations of the Business and Professions code), the DMV (due to Covid shutdowns, I had passed the statute of limitations), Autonation Corporate (would do nothing since I drove the van 39k miles, even though the van is deteriorating), Toyota Corporate (they don’t deal with used car issues at their dealerships, so I need to hire a lawyer and sue them!). I now have no choice but to do the over $5000 in repairs. Please share, and tell others to go out and get printouts of their TCUV prior history.

When you go to a dealer, you expect to get good service, but the reality was quite different: car not returned in a timely fashion, LOTS OF EXCUSES and DELAYS, increase in price constantly for a very basic repair, POOR COMMUNICATION, incompetent workers.

The shuttle driver was unpleasant, the service rep automatically wanted to charge me for filters without even checking to see if they needed to be changed and presented the total cost as if it was a given instead giving me the options. I used to go to this dealer before with my previous Toyota and I remember it was always a good experience. I don't think I am going back after this experience.

Unlike another local Toyota dealership in the area, they were interested in helping us get what we wanted, not what they wanted to sell us. Mark Corbet is the first car salesman I have ever worked with that truly listened to what we wanted. I didn’t walk away feeling that we “settled”. We got what we wanted and at a great price. If you want to be treated right, go to AutoNation Irvine. One final point to prove they think about the customer first- They sent us on our way in our new RAV4 with a FULL TANK of gas - never had a dealership do that before. BUY TOUR CAR HERE!

I understand that customer service today blames the customer and the agent certainly made it my fault that the dealer lost my records. She reluctantly booked service. When I arrived for service there were three cars waiting, including mine. There were no less than nine service reps sitting at desks, only one or two were with customers. It took a long time for them to get up and help the people waiting. After that, my service was great. Courteous and fast.

Horrible service, been out of tags due to incompetence of the employees there for 6 months now, on 2019 we leased a 2020 tundra, they didn’t finish the paper work until march of 2020 and still isn’t done correctly, at the dmv we couldn’t get our tags because of the same reason (incomplete paperwork). Don't bother making a reservation for your car, you still have to wait. I just wanted what needed to be taken care of at this particular visit, which seemed like a lot at the time, well the salesman kept telling me that I needed to do this and that, honestly my Truck is a 2012, not off road and no hard or long miles (57k), I felt like the customer service was a little off, more like turn and burn and I'm to busy at the moment. The showroom was pushy as well, I was just killing time and had to repeat this a half dozen times.

I took my Toyota Prius to the Autonation Toyota Irvine Service Center for oil change this morning (05/29/21). I had made an appointment for 7:15 AM and arrived at 6:40 AM. An advisor named Thomas Kolb assisted me at around 7:05 AM. He rushed through the process in less than a minute and didn’t even write down my license plate. He also got my cell phone number written down incorrectly till I reminded him to correct it. Before I could ask him if any other services were needed besides the oil change, he had already left and moved towards another car/customer. I looked at my receipt later and found that my order was eventually entered at 9:38 AM (but Thomas Kolb should have entered my order shortly after 7:05 AM upon assisting me). I was able to finally get my car and left the service center at around 10: 35 AM (from 7:05 AM to 10:35 AM just for oil change). The reason I decided to write this complaint was not so much about the unreasonable delay, but it was mainly because Thomas Kolb did not even say a single word to apologize for his sub-par, poor service. He just casually told me the paperwork was dropped on the ground earlier and I needed to simply wait longer, treating it like it was no big deal.

I took my Toyota Prius to the Autonation Toyota Irvine Service Center for oil change this morning (05/29/21). I had made an appointment for 7:15 AM and arrived at 6:40 AM. An advisor named Thomas Kolb assisted me at around 7:05 AM. He rushed through the process in less than a minute and didn’t even write down my license plate. He also got my cell phone number written down incorrectly till I reminded him to correct it. Been looking around for a 2021 Prius Prime for the past month. Checked pretty much all of the car dealers here in southern Cali and even inquired all the way to Hayward! Almost all of them are out of inventory of PP and some like in Temecula Valley Toyota wouldn’t even budge on lowering their price. After researching online, one of the staff from AutoNation Toyota Irvine called me and said that they’ll have a few PP arriving (FOB 😂) in the evening and set me up an appointment the next day. Showed up in the AM and Del Nakar helped me out. Everything went on smoothly from price negotiations all the way to the F & I, except for one thing: they couldn’t find the keys! I got upset but Del sincerely apologized and asked me to come back the next day and they will fill up the gas and wash my other car. Del Nakar has been very superb on taking care of me and making sure that all my needs are met. Thank you so much for making it happen. I’m now the new owner of 2021 Toyota Prius Prime! I've spent 14 hours and 2 Saturdays trying to get my second key that was lost by the dealer when I purchased my car. When I got my key, I was honked at by Stewart, a sales rep, on the way to the gas station. He told me not to take it personally. I bought a car here on 4/3. When I bought my car, I was not given my second key because the service department was closed and I was told that I would be receiving the key via overnight shipping. I waited nearly a week with no key and no updates. I called and was told that my key was lost and that I'd have to get a new one programmed. I had come back to the store to get the key. I live 2 hours away from this dealer, but I bought from here because they had a car with the specific trim, color, and features I was looking for. I was told over the phone by a sales manager, Mike Naby, that I could come in on a Saturday to get my key programmed. I waited for 2.5 hours to be told that they did not have a spare key at service and that I'd have to come back later. When I came the second time, I had an appointment but still waited 3.5 hours to get my key. With a 2 hour drive from my house, I've spent a total of 14 hours to get my second key. I've lost 2 of my Saturdays trying to get something that was promised to me when I bought my car. After I got my key, the dealer agreed to fill up my car with gas and wash my car. My car came out of the wash with many water spots around the sides and came out worse than it was before. On the way to the gas station, Stewart, one of the sales reps, drove separately to fill a used truck. There is an unprotected left to get into the gas station, and he honked at me when I was about to turn because I took too long. When I asked him why he would honk at a customer, he told me "don't take it personally man." The purchasing process ran just fine, but the customer service experience I've had afterwards has been absolutely awful

I bought Toyota Certified Used Car from Auto Nation Irvine in Feb 21. Then I took my car to maintenance for a regular service in April 21. Service guy told me that, there are some service items that I need to pay around ~$1.000. Said just bought this car from here and you said everything was good. And he told me that, if you buy used car, you need to spend more money for that car and the total price will be the same as new one. I said, if my budget is enough to buy new car, I would do that but this is certified used car. He said, they don’t cover these service items and I have to pay this money sooner or later. Why didn't you check car properly before sold it!... because they wanted to sell it ASAP and make more money after they sold it. I was shocked and never buy any car from this dealership and never buy Toyota anymore.

I have been getting my cars services at this dealership for about 10 years. Although I have always been happy, this visit was disappointing. Usually, even on a busy day, I have someone come up to my car usually in 2 minutes or less, this time, with only one other car in service bay, it took about 10 minutes for someone to even say hello. The disappointing thing was when I returned to take my car home. I had had 2 prepackaged cookies in my backseat. When I got into my car I noticed cookie crumbs next to driver's seat. I thought really nothing of it, until when I got to first traffic light and noticed one of my cookies had been eaten. Totally no big deal, it was just a cookie, however trust is trust. I know it was just a cookie, just the principal. So, next time I show up, I will make sure I have no food in car. Must be some worker who wanted a free snack. BTW, left a message with AutoNation when I got home, and no reply yet. I know it was just a cookie, simply the principal of the matter.

A week ago ( Very Recent) I took my Toyota Camry 2016 to this Auto Nation Toyota, Irvine at 9201 Research DR. , Irvine. On 5/7 2021. One of my major concerns is the Navigation integrated in the car is NOT WORKING. I addressed this issue with my service advisor “Manny” and he said he’ll check it out. I addressed this Navigation issue with “Dan” a service manager like a year ago and he couldn’t do or say anything except “ I have seen this before.” This is been going on for sometime. He and his manager David Venegas, told me THAT NOTHING COULD BE DONE. I have to pay for another part $2000 + for Radio/ Navigation. The navigation of a TOYOTA car BROKE AFTER less than 4 years and I have to replace with another part. No one there knew what was the problem or why the Navigation broke in 3-4 years. All they said things happen. When I got the car after service, it wasn’t even cleaned or vacuumed. Extremely BAD Service. I do not recommend going to this trash location. I will escalate the problem to Toyota. They do not even deserve ONE STAR. H.G.

My fit car was a 1973 Toyota Celica I bought at the Toyota dealership on Beach Blvd. in Westminster in 1979 for $3200.00 my next car was a 1984 Toyota Celica followed by a 1987 toyota tercel 4wd wagon. Then a 1989 Toyota Base model truck. In 1990 I got a divorce and gave my X-wife everything, completely amicable (we’ve stayed close friends) so for 2 years I rode a motorcycle. In 1991 I purchased a fully loaded Toyota SR5 truck from Toyota when they were in the dealership complex off of Lake Forest. It was in the Showroom just like the Corolla XSE we just leased. I know tmi, but I just wanted to let you know that I’ve been a Toyota owner for 80% of my driving history. But have owned a few other brands over the years as well. I guess what I’m saying is that of all my car purchases this one was by far the easiest on my nerves and the least stressful car purchase.

After getting the runaround from other dealerships when shopping for a Toyota Prius Prime in 2018, a salesperson from AutoNation contacted us saying, "we have the vehicle you are looking for at this price." It was a no-hassle purchase, so in 2020 when our lease ended on another vehicle, we purchased a Prius from AutoNation Irvine. Living 70 miles away, we have had our vehicles serviced at local dealerships and had problems. We had a recent issue with the 2018 Prius Prime and I decided it was worth the drive to remedy things where we purchased the vehicle, expecting it to be a problem almost 3 years after our purchase. I was prepared for a dispute that never happened. The service representative, Thomas K., quickly looked up the issue, found that it was pre-approved by Toyota and that they had the parts in stock. The excellent experience left me in a pleasant state of shock and the work was done in only two hours! They have earned my business for life. The drive is no inconvenience when you know you are getting top-notch service. Oh, what a feeling!

I arrived at 9:05am Wednesday, a little early for my 10k mile service appointment but sat waiting for over 10 minutes anyways till someone acknowledged I was even there (the service area wasn?t that busy and at least 5 advisors were right there and watched me pull up). When I made the appointment, I was assigned Kyle Maxwell as a service advisor who I was first told ?wasn?t working that day?. Once finally checked in around 9:20am I was told the service was going to be ?very quick? and should be less than an hour. At 10:50am (1 hour and 30 minutes later), I asked one of the guys what the status was on my vehicle and he asked who my service advisor was, so I said I was scheduled with Kyle Maxwell. This person let me know that Kyle hasn?t worked here for several months. Funny as I booked the appointment just the day before. After another 10 minutes of fumbling around and asking the techs, the advisor who checked me in told me it would be a few more minutes. Its now after 11am and I?m running late for several business appointments of my own I have to race to in the IE. Finally my 4Runner comes out around 11:20am and they tell me they ?rotated my tires, topped the fluids, changed the oil and did an inspection?. It?s got under 10k miles fellas, there couldn?t be too much to really inspect. Anyways, over 2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation yesterday. I will never be back for any services here. Capistrano Toyota is way out of my way but they did my 5k service in under 20 minutes. Granted they aren?t as big or busy, but they also didn?t waste my time. What good is an appointment if nobody is going to make anyone a priority? I could have done the same work myself in under 20 minutes, but being a brand new vehicle still under service care, I shouldn?t have to. Irvine Toyota (both sales and service) has been going downhill for a long time. I didn?t buy my 4Runner there because of a whole other customer service issue. Again, I don?t think I?ll ever go back to Irvine for buying or service. What a waste of time.

Dealership features haggle free pricing to allow pressure-free buying experience. While prices may be higher than advertised prices from dealers, what AutoNation offer in return is more honest pricing ? no hidden fees, surcharges, or non-advertised mark ups, etc. compared to other dealers. At the same time AutoNation attempts to offer "better customer service". That said, it is strange that the dealership demanded to run credit for cash buy. I disagreed and stood firm ? almost walked out without making the purchase until the finance manager relented. Overall a pleasant buying experience. Still wish it could have gone a bit faster than it did. Total time for the entire process is about 3 hours from initial examination, test drive, trade in evaluation, negotiation, document signing to delivery.

I think their lives work done on my car that may not have been needed. I was told that I was getting a discount but when I arrived home and went over my paperwork I found that I didn’t even get 10%. I called manual and he told me a head to present to discount card at the time that he did the paperwork. I told him the card was in my car but they drove the car away before the paperwork was done and I just assumed that I would get to 25% discount. Of course, Manny did not ask if I had a discount card either. This isn’t the way I would do business and I am dissatisfied. It seems like the operation is a bit shady.

Well upon picking my car up they stated that I had a couple bolts missing on my guard, which would not be the reason my car is creaking. Not to mention that was the only day I was able to have anything done for the next month. This was the best, hassle-free purchase of a vehicle we have had in many years of buying cars. We asked for an on-line, out-the-door quote for a new Hybrid RAV4 that was en-route to the dealership. We immediately received a very fair price quote that was below MSRP and that we felt was a win-win for both us and the dealership. We were kept informed of the in-transit status and given an appointment to view the vehicle when it arrived. The internet sales manager, Leon Li met us at the door and showed us the car. There was no attempt to up-sell us or pressure us to add items we did not want. The finance process went smoothly and quickly, and although we were offered a number of warranty and other services, there was no pressure to buy once we declined. We can highly recommend this dealership if you want a pressure-free, honest, and fair purchase experience. This is how car-buying should be!!!

I bought my car at AutoNation Toyota Irvine, and with it I paid for 5 service/maintenance visits. Just used up the last one. While at the first three occasions it was only an hour to wait for an oil change and whatever inspection was performed - and was happy with that time frame - the last two, the 4th and 5th visit lasted three hours. That is slow service. Especially, since I wasn't a walk-in, I had an appointment. Observing what was taking place in the waiting area, parts department, and service department, I suspect Toyota Irvine is grossly understaffed. Please, don't sell goods that you can not deliver!

I have a 2019 Toyota Camry XLE with a 5 year maintenance agreement. I just took it in for the twelve month/10,000 mile service at Toyota Nation in Irvine, CA. I had an appointment, and they were very organized. The car needed only the covered maintenance. When done they always wash the car. I waited at the dealership while the service was performed. They gave me an hour and a half time estimate, but it was longer by 45 minutes due to a shortage of technicians that day. Over all it was still a good experience.

Worst customer service ever. We just purchased a 2021 Toyota Camry from Autonation Toyota and had a horrible experience with our sales rep Donald and their GM Mark. Because of our bad experience with our sales rep Donald we left a negative review on social media and the next day we got a threaten phone call from Mark their GM demanding us to remove our review or else. He also said to be careful with posting negative reviews for my employees because I back them or something in that regards. Extremely unprofessional and rude and based on their other negative reviews Mark is known to bully he’s customers. He definitely picked the wrong customer to bully this time and I will make sure to notify the media so others don’t make the same mistake has we did by doing business with them. As a General manager Mark should act professional to set a example to he’s employees. But it’s very clear that he doesn’t value he’s customers. To make matters worse they sold us a defective vehicle with scratches on it which is considered a dealership Frude because Mark refused to fix it. So save your time and money shop else where for a vehicle because Mark and he’s employees are unprofessional.

This review is for our sales rep Donald. Originally we left Donald a five star review and also made a big mistake by giving him all 10 on the dealers survey which I will see if I can change it because Donald made it clear to us that he was just being nice and fake at first so he can get he’s commission and a great survey from us. Because as soon is he got he’s commission and a great survey and good review from us he’s whole attitude changed from good to rude like a typical car sales person. Before we met with Donald we made it clear to him on which kinds of cars we were interested in and he assured us that he would have those cars ready on the day of our appointment. However when we arrived at the dealership he obviously didn’t do he’s homework because he was clueless and informed us that he doesn’t have the vehicle that we want however he can get them from another dealership but it would take time and it would cost us more money. He also stated that if we pick a vehicle from their dealership he can give us a discount. So he basically wasted our time and since we were in need of a vehicle we basically purchased what they had available. To make matters worse he was in a rush and didn’t even bother to explain some of the features on our vehicle and asked me to call him when I have time so he can have one of their tech guys show me. Couple of weeks later I called the dealership to see if Donald was working they told me that he was working but he’s in the restroom. So I texted him to see if he’s available to have their tech guy help me. He replies back and says that he’s not working until Thursday. What a F??? Lol. I informed him that I was told that he was working so then he changes he’s story and says that he was working in the morning. So I called the dealership to speak with their manager and again they tell me that Donald is in if I want to speak with him and when I got him on the phone he was extremely rude about it. I consider this unprofessional and dishonest and I do not recommend Donald at all because no one wants to buy a vehicle from a dishonest person.

Overall I had a great experience. When I got there Faten already had my car ready to go and ready for a test drive. She was absolutely amazing. She was so patient and went above and beyond to find me the car I wanted at the price I wanted. I came in with a check from my bank and they still wanted to run my credit a few times after I told them I wasn?t interested in financing thru them which I didn?t appreciate. That was my only complaint. The finance guy we had was Jay. He had us in and out of there quick which was great because I hate spending hours at dealerships. Again, overall great experience.

Worked with Stewart Rodell on leasing a new Avalon. It was good to work with an experienced salesman as he walked us through a few new items on the car that I didn't notice when I reviewed in online. The sales process took a little longer than usual, but I think that was more to do with new COVID restrictions than anything. I would and will recommend Stewart and AutoNation to my friends and family as the process was fair and clear for my wife and me.

Ozzie was an excellent salesperson. Very helpful and knowledgeable. The first finance associate was helpful, but due to a mistake that he made on the paperwork, my wife and I had to go back in and resign all of the documents. We met with a different finance associate, and this guy was only concerned about how he never makes mistakes, and then he did, and then refused to fix the problem. We final paid our bank $40.00 to fix the mistake he made on the title. A great experience turned sour due to one finance associate's arrogance. Again, Ozzie was GREAT.

Took my car in for a service and they tried to charge me for a service I did not approve. Service writer, Chris, was very rude and thought he could take advantage of me because I am a female and I look young. When I confronted him, he blamed me for his mistake!!! He didn?t think I?d know better. Terrible terrible terrible. Never EVER going back here again for any reason what so ever. I recommend you don?t either. I never write reviews, but this upset me so much. I can?t believe people like Chris can sleep at night, scamming people left and right during the day.

I went with my daughter to look for a vehicle for her use commuting to college. Although I had a particular vehicle in mind our sales representative pointed out other similar vehicles. We did not feel pressured, but welcomed to spend time with any vehicle we found interesting. After I identified one of particular interest and he shared the high points of value we sat down and worked out a deal. The dealership uses a 'no haggle' used car purchase policy so it was simple. Settling on a reasonable value for our trade in was not unpleasant. As a long-time service customer I enjoy doing business with Auto Nation.

Everyone is always friendly and knowledgeable. Buying my car was easy and straight forward. I came in with pre-approval from my bank for a car loan, and the sales guy actually negotiated me a better loan with a different bank. Since then, I've found the repairs and maintenance staff solid. I rarely make appointments, I just drive up... and they've always found a way to fit me in and get it done same day (okay, almost always). When I can't afford everything at once, they have been great at helping figure out a timeline and prioritize based on immediate needs and safety. I've really been impressed overall.

Over the last 15 years we have had three Toyotas we own serviced at AutoNation Irvine Toyota. One of these was purchased from this dealership and the others were not. What is significant about this long relationship is that we have a Toyota dealership about 1.5 miles from our home, and we go the 10 miles to AutoNation, because of the quality of the people, and service we have received. We will not take our Toyotas to any other dealer for service.

In a hurry! I purchased a Sequoia on 12/24 and the salesman was in a big hurry to get me out of the dealership. He did not even walk me thru how to use the features of the vehicle - I learned by reading the manual while sitting in my driveway. The financeperson was also in a hurry and did not explain the packages he was trying to sell me - it appeared that he had another buyer waiting on him so, he wanted to push me out the door quickly as well. They claimed to have washed the vehicle but it had water spots all over and the windows were all smeared so not much care was taken on the wash. I realize that selling vehicles is an everyday routine task for the people at this dealer but purchasing an expensive vehicle is a rarity in my life so, I expected to be treated with more care and receive better service.

I strongly recommend AutoNation Toyota Irvine. Had a 50,000 mile service done on my Sienna and the whole experience was fantastic. I was contacted by the service department to get it scheduled. I was able to get in right away. Once arriving there, Elaine was extremely helpful getting me taken care of. She looked up my vehicle, and instantly knew exactly what needed to be done. I even had some work needed that was covered under the warrantly, and Elaine handled it effortlessly. She got me in and out, and kept me updated the whole time. I needed to replace a car in the family and ventured out to drive various vehicles with the expectation to purchase and/or decide the car best meeting my needs. While other dealerships/makes/models did not address my needs; I stopped into Toyota (AutoNation Irvine Toyota) to test drive a Rav4. After not blowing me away with its overall performance, etc., Ed Mahdavi (my sale's person) had me look at the new Venza. With this model; I was truly excited. Later that day, my wife and I both drove the car, and made the decision to purchase one. Unfortunately, the Venza make/model/color etc. was not located at this dealership and that's when "going above and beyond" kicked in. Ed, his sales manager Andrew found and obtain the car model we wanted. Ed drove to another dealership to pick it up and we concluded the transaction within hours. Additionally, Mark (finance manager) professionally walked us through the purchase process and concluded the acquisition. This Dealership is GREAT!!

I have asked several times for the estimate for maintenance service over the phone and at the site as I have another appointment after the service 2 hrs after the estimated time. Showed up ontime at 9AM appointment, told by them service would be 90 min, and able to get out by 11pm. But the car was never ready till around 1pm. And I missed business appointments and hurt my professional image. Service manager is either dishonest or incapable to estimate time. Could be both? Never trust them. Service appointment callers do not care if the service is really needed or not, just wanted to get some sales before the end of year (manufacture service schedule does not require maintenance till several month later). I though I would help local business by bringing car to maintenance earlier than needed, but I need to be suspicious of them in the future.

I travelled to Irvine for this car because it was the one I wanted, color I wanted with a great mileage. I sent a message to the dealership to see if the car was still available. Tom called first and we talked, he answered my questions, texted me in between emailing me things. Made sure I had everything I needed before going to Irvine to get the car. Tom made the process very easy, was waiting for me when I got there with everything done, walked me through the process and answered any questions I had. Tom is the reason I have my car!

I brought my vehicle for the standard 5,000 miles service. The advisor, Chris C. , was able to accommodate my request even though I didn't have an appointment and the service center was about to close within two hours or so. Upon conclusion of the service, he advised that there was a warranty job that needed approval from HQ. He promised to call the next day with an answer...and he did. I took the vehicle back and it was repaired on the same day. I'd like to take Chris for providing a very positive experience. Thank you!!!

I bought my car from here. Doesn't seem like they care about their customers at all. The sales and service departments are only out to make a buck. When i bought my car, I found it online. Called ahead twice to confirm that it was on the lot and when I showed up. The car was "magically" not on the lot. and the salesman proceeded to try and sell me other cars that I specifically didn't want. Also have a VCP through auto-nation and it covers some oil changes. Each time I go in for an oil change, they try to upsell me on stuff I don't need and It takes any where from an hour and a half to two hours. I routinely write reviews and have no heard back from anyone. Don't get me wrong, I love my prius. But I wont be shopping at Autonation toyota next time.

When we started shopping for the Highlander, the general manager name Mark Mehta will email me everyday a few times try to earn my business. We do not want to stay in the dealer for a long time due to COVID so I asked for the information sheet. We took a short test drive(5 mins) and purchased the car on Dec 4 without bargain because we trust the info he sent me. After we got home, we found out there was not Rear-Front Parking Assist function which was indicated on his info sheet. I call and emailed the manager on Dec 8 to find out what is going on. The manager then disappears and never respond to me, not even apologize. Yes, the function is important but not essential. What important is his attitude. All they care is earn the commission not your satisfaction. If you shop for Toyota, go some place else. I have filed the case with Toyota Customer relation and wait to see what they said.

Called to schedule an appointment and made one for 9:30AM although I would have preferred earlier. Arrived at 9:30 and there was a giant line of cars. Had to wait to get checked in then sit in a crowded waiting room. Was told the service should take an hour and a half and it took two and half hours. Once your free service is done with the dealership do not come here! It is so much better to get your service done by reliable people that respect your time and it's cheaper at most places.

I just bought a new Toyota RAV4 Hybrid XLE at AutoNation in Irvine. Our sales rep, Jonathan, was fantastic. He communicated promptly throughout the process online, and Jae, in the finance department processed the paperwork quickly. Jonathan was very thorough explaining the features of the car, and we arrived at a fair price without unnecessary negotiations. The whole process was smooth and enjoyable.

The service was fine, nothing special. I had asked the representative helping me for the most basic service. I didn’t want any unnecessary service. In the past, they would accommodate my request but this time he recommended a package indicating that it was what my car needed. I agreed, but I found out later that none of the other services were necessary. I felt as if I was duped into purchasing a package. I don’t plan to go back to this location.

Took vehicle in for service at a dealership in West Covina CA, and was informed that there were a number of things that needed fixing/repairing at the 100K mark. The prices quoted looked a bit inflated, so I took my vehicle to AutoNation Irvine. They took care of everything that needed service for $400 less than what the other place quoted.

Purchased a nee Prius Prime in June, the buying experience was great, brought in this week for its 5,000 service and was told it would take an hour. Upon dropping off I waited 30 mins before I was assisted, when I told them if two issues I’ve noticed the rear view mirror was loose and the computer kept re booting while driving I was informed they needed more time 4-5 hours. There is no loaner car service which I’ve had from Volkswagen, Mercedes and Audi ( this is my first Toyota) I was offered a ride home to wait but the shuttle ended at 3:00. I explained I needed to be picked up at 4-5:00 end they first told me sorry, then said they would arrange for a pick up. I called four hours later we no one had been in contact and left a voice mail. 30 min later I got a call my car was ready but it would be and hour and a half until someone could get me. I ended up having to Uber back to collect my car car. I was never spoken to about the issues I had to read the receipt. Coming from automakers that offer loaners and great communication to this was disappointing.

I’ve purchased over 20 vehicles from dealerships in my lifetime. I have never received worse service than at AutoNation Toyota Irvine. In April 2020 I purchased their most expensive vehicle, a 2020 Land Cruiser heritage edition and you would have thought I was buying a used car with the way I was treated and ignored. I liked the Land Cruiser, but was hesitant about buying it because it did not have Apple CarPlay. I was promised that it could be added. The sales professional also had me speak with his service person, who promised it could be added. Over the next six months, I followed up numerous times, with sometimes no response for weeks! Kyle in the service department provided the worst customer service I have ever had in my entire life. After trying to resolve this, numerous times, the only thing they could offer is to refund my money. I would have purchased the Lexus equivalent of the vehicle, had they been upfront and honest with me. It’s not the fact that they couldn’t get Apple CarPlay, it’s that I had to follow up over 30 times. After 6 months of getting blown off The sales person told me I would have a refund check within a few days. Six weeks went by, and you guessed it: no check, I had to call the sales manager who then had a check issued immediately. This dealership totally dropped the ball and I would highly highly highly recommend not using them. I certainly would never service my vehicle with them because they do not do what they say and make promises they can’t keep. I cannot stress enough, that I would strongly urge anyone contemplating buying a Toyota to do it through another dealership. AutoNation is a total letdown and a total disappointment. Horrible service, and unethical sales practices and employees who don’t care about their customers. It was so bad, I don’t even think I would ever buy another Toyota product.

The customer service needs to improve. Mike the one that attends me looks like not in a mood on doing his job. Not like how the other attendant treat the other customer. I don’t know if he is having a bad day. I also requested for a wash which is routine after a service is done but they didn’t wash my van. It is also late. I was given a time frame of 1 hour and 30 mins but it was 2 hours. He didn’t discuss what did they do or even if you have any issue in my car after the service.

We purchased a very high end vehicle from this dealership and it has been nothing but a complete nightmare since we drove off the lot. Their customer service is absolutely the worst we have ever experienced and that’s saying a lot! We were sold an after market component that was supposed to come in about 4 weeks after we bought the vehicle. 6 months and DOZENS of unreturned phone calls and text messages later we never received the component. After speaking to one of many managers they finally offered to refund our money. This was promised to occur within 2 weeks. It took 8 weeks and several more phone calls to finally get our check. This place and it’s employees could care less about their customers. I don’t leave negative reviews in general but I am leaving this one in hopes that I can save some nice people from an extremely frustrating experience.

The service has deteriorated here. Maybe because of the virus lockdown? Waited forever to be checked in, in the eating room, no call back from my service manager as far as status - I had to call back, and stood around for 5 minutes to get my car pulled out. No one there to help. Coffee machine plugged and no small bottle of water available. I saw water bottles stacked in the service supervisors office.

Work was completed as specified in a timely manner. Alan M., the service advisor is very knowledgeable and he kept me apprised of status of the service and let me know when the vehicle was ready for pick up.

The service team makes a great effort to acknowledge their waiting customers quickly. Joe checked me in for my appointment and Manny, my advisor, continued with the paperwork. Manny took excellent care of me and assured I received my car back at the time promised. I would highly recommend AutoNation Toyota Irvine.

On October 7th, I took my old Corolla for an overdue maintenance service. I had made an appointment with Tom Kolb ahead of time, and he greeted me shortly after I drove in. He is always pleasant and listens to what I have to say about my car. He is the best customer consultant among all the consultants I have dealt with in New Mexico and here. All was well with my car, although it is old, and I also appreciate the work your mechanics do taking care of it.

The Dealership offers the worst customer service in Orange County. They are only interested in making money by suggesting additional services. Had to wait for over three hours for a ride back to the dealership to pick up my car. Had to wait for almost 30 mins just to make my payment. The customer service STINKS!

I recently put in an inquiry to finance a vehicle. I knew going in that it may not happen, but I felt hopeful. First I was emailed by Sean who saw what I wanted and the issues I may have and immediately suggested a completely different vehicle. Then AJ (a manager) emailed me and said he'd help me and that I shouldn't count out my options just yet. So I said ok...he went over the numbers and everything and was completely honest with me. So I then decided maybe I take a different route and find a used vehicle that would meet my needs and be in a better budget. I agreed to have him send off to lenders and find out what he could for me. I have alerts set so I know if someone is accessing my credit (had some issues which is partly why I knew this would be a long shot, but still figured I'd try). I followed up with him end of day since I hadn't heard anything back yet. I got an email from Mike saying they were still checking and they'd get back to me. I accepted the answer. Then I got more notifications that my credit was being checked yet again but by the same exact lenders that had already checked my credit. I again followed up and I got an email from Sean saying his managers are still working on this. Then I got an email from Lee. This all started on Wednesday evening and by Sunday afternoon I hadn't gotten an answer back. So I contacted them all again since I have no idea who is actually handling this at this point. It is now 7:30ish on Sunday evening and I was finally told they can't help me. I didn't get any reason for why my credit was checked multiple times by the same lenders (my guess is one manager sent it off to be checked then without communicating with each other another did the same thing). I get it. I won't make them money today, I won't get a car off their lot and I get that I am high risk, but none of that means I should have been treated the way I was. One day I won't be the high risk, I will be able to get exactly what I want when I go to purchase a vehicle. I am in a great place financially, it just doesn't show on paper yet. I help my community in anyway I can. I guess I expected more from a company that has been helping their community and it's surrounding area for decades. Do yourself a favor and look else where for your next vehicle. Also, I tried to go online and find the dealership manager to speak to and the staff page is conveniently blank. Why have it if you're not going to use it? Unless you've had people complain before and don't want to deal with it now.
